A workspace is the unit of ownership in vly. Projects belong to a workspace; members belong to a workspace; billing is per-workspace. Most users start with a single workspace tied to their account; teams typically create one per company.

People with access. Roles are workspace-wide.

Connected services (GitHub, Stripe, Resend) are scoped to the workspace.

Creating a workspace

Settings → Workspaces → Create new

Pick a name and slug. Slug becomes part of URLs.

You become the owner

First member; sole owner.

Invite members

Settings → Members. Email or invite link. Set roles.

Switching workspaces

The workspace switcher lives at the top-left of the dashboard. Click to switch between workspaces you belong to.

Transferring ownership

To hand off a workspace:
  1. Settings → Members → [target user] → “Transfer ownership”.
  2. Confirm. The target user becomes owner; the previous owner becomes admin.
Cannot be undone without the new owner cooperating.

Deleting a workspace

Settings → Workspaces → Delete. Two-step confirmation. Permanently deletes all projects, data, and members. Members keep their personal accounts.
