Auth
Add Google OAuth as a sign-in option, in addition to email + password.
Add 2FA via authenticator apps for users with the 'admin' role.
Members can opt in but it's not required.
Switch to magic-link-only authentication. Remove the password field
from sign-up.
Forms & data
Add a settings page where users can change their display name, avatar,
and notification preferences.
Add an "archived" boolean to the tasks table (default false). Hide archived
tasks from the default list. Add an "Archive" action and a separate
"Archived" view.
Real-time
Add presence to the document editor — show avatars of users currently
viewing the document, with their cursor positions.
Add typing indicators to the comment box. Show "X is typing..." pills
when other team members are actively typing in the same task's comments.
Notifications
When a task is assigned, create an in-app notification for the assignee
with the task title and assigner name. Show a bell icon with unread count
in the header.
Add weekly email digests. Every Monday morning, email each user a
summary of their team's activity from the past week.
Billing
Add Stripe subscription billing with three tiers (Free / Pro $10/mo /
Business $40/mo). Admin-only billing settings. Use the Stripe customer
portal for upgrade/downgrade.
AI features
When a task is created, generate a one-line summary using OpenAI gpt-4o-mini.
Save in a new `summary` field on the task.
Add a chatbot in the bottom-right that answers questions about the user's
data. Use OpenAI gpt-4o with tool calling. Tools: search_tasks, create_task,
get_user_info.
Multi-tenant
Add multi-tenancy. Users belong to workspaces; workspaces have many members.
Roles: owner / admin / member. Workspace switcher in the header.
Search
Add full-text search across tasks. Search bar in the header (Cmd+K to focus).
Show top 10 results as the user types, debounced 200ms.
Files
Add file uploads to tasks. Each task can have multiple file attachments.
Show thumbnails for images; download links for other types. Max 10 MB per file.
