# Marketplace apps

> Prompts for two-sided marketplaces — buyers, sellers, listings, transactions.

Marketplaces add **payments** and **two-sided users** on top of CRUD. See the [marketplace recipe](/recipes/marketplace-with-stripe) for the full build.

## Foundation prompt

**Goal**: A two-sided marketplace where sellers list {items} and buyers purchase them.

**User**: Both sellers and buyers are signed-up users. Sellers complete Stripe Connect Express onboarding to start selling.

**Data**:
- Add `stripeAccountId` and `stripeOnboardingComplete` to users
- `listings`: { sellerId, title, description, priceUsdCents, imageUrl, active, createdAt }
- `purchases`: { buyerId, sellerId, listingId, amountUsdCents, platformFeeUsdCents, stripePaymentIntentId, status }

**Behavior**:
- Public homepage shows active listings, paginated
- Listing detail page → Buy button (logged-in users) / Sign in to buy (logged-out)
- Sellers have a dashboard with their listings, revenue, and payouts
- Use Stripe Connect Express for payouts
- 10% platform fee

**Constraints**:
- Use Stripe test mode for development
- Refunds must also refund the platform fee
