# Vercel

> Deploy your vly-generated app to Vercel as well as vly's managed hosting.

vly hosts your app by default. Connect Vercel as an additional deploy target if your team's other infrastructure runs there.

## When to pick

* You want a backup deployment target.
* Your org standardizes on Vercel.
* You need Vercel-specific features (Edge Config, ISR for marketing pages).

## Setup

Use [GitHub integration](/integrations/github) to push code to a repo Vercel watches. Vercel auto-deploys on push. Note: the Convex backend still runs on vly's infrastructure regardless.
