# Twilio

> SMS, voice, programmable phone numbers. The standard for phone-based features.

[Twilio](https://twilio.com) is the most common SMS / voice provider. Use for SMS auth (2FA), notification SMS, call routing, IVR.

## Setup

`TWILIO_ACCOUNT_SID`, `TWILIO_AUTH_TOKEN`, `TWILIO_FROM_NUMBER` in vly secrets. Use the Twilio SDK from a Convex action.
