# Auth0

> Enterprise SSO, fine-grained access control, multi-tenant. The veteran in the auth space.

[Auth0](https://auth0.com) is the long-running enterprise auth platform. SAML, OIDC, social providers, MFA — all configurable.

## When to pick

* You need SAML / OIDC SSO for enterprise customers.
* You're already an Auth0 customer at the org level.
* You want fine-grained role / permission management with policies.

## Setup

`AUTH0_DOMAIN`, `AUTH0_CLIENT_ID`, `AUTH0_CLIENT_SECRET` in vly secrets. Configure Convex auth provider with Auth0's JWT issuer.
