# Plans & pricing

> Free, Pro, Business, and Enterprise — what's in each tier, what counts toward usage, and how to upgrade or downgrade.

vly's pricing is simple. The free tier is a real free tier (not a 14-day trial), and paid plans start at **\$3/month** — typically 7× cheaper than comparable AI app builders.

## What counts as a credit

A credit funds **one agent run**. Typical sizes:

| Tiny (one line) | 1 |
| Small (one feature, \~3 files) | 2–4 |
| Medium (multi-file feature) | 5–10 |
| Large (refactor, \~15+ files) | 10–25 |

Plan mode itself doesn't cost credits — only the resulting build does. See [Credits](/features/billing/credits).

## Upgrading

## Downgrading

Downgrades take effect at the **end of the current billing period**. Your remaining credits stay usable until then.

If you downgrade below your current usage (e.g., from Pro with 8 projects to Free with a 3-project limit), the lowest-priority projects are archived (not deleted). Reactivate them after upgrading.

## Annual billing

Annual plans are 2 months free. Switch from monthly via **Settings → Billing → Switch to annual**.

## Refunds
